- Adventure! is a game which is not enjoyable unless you interact with other players (this means Adventure! will be PvP based!).
- I always wanted to make Adventure! multiplayer but until now I never knew how to do it. Before I decided to restart this project I tried to apply multiplayer but it just was too complicated and things weren't working with the weapons and how they work, so I decided it would be easier if I started fresh and made Adventure! with a multiplayer skeleton instead of adding it later in the development.

Adventure! has been cancelled! (sort of)
Adventure! has been a fun game to work on but was intended to be just a prototype. However, when the phoenix dies another will rise from its ashes. So basically, I'm remaking Adventure! (I am using most assets from the original game) but instead of it being single player it will purely be a multiplayer experience. I have two strong reasons why I am remaking Adventure! multiplayer.

0.2 is Coming Soon!
For the last few weeks I have been over coming the challenge of make a day and night cycle. Finally, I have finished it (took me a while!). 0.2 will be coming out in a few more weeks. This is because it will be the biggest update to Adventure! Here is a list of things I have added:
Added:
Here are some screenshots:
Added:
- New Axe Model
- New Sword Model
- New Lamp Model (this replaces the flashlight!)
- 4 New Skyboxes (this is for the day and night cycle)
- New Options Menu
- Added Antialiasing (PostEffect)
- Moving Sun (I know it's amazing!)
- Trees can now be Chopped Down (wood can be obtained by doing this)
- Added Death animation for trees
- The Island (the island is now a huge bay!)
- The Size of the Textures (there are now smaller than before! (no, this doesn't mean the file size!))
- Increased the file size of the grasses and plants (this makes the grass textures better quality and are clearer)
- Sun Flare (it had to be changed because of the day and night cycle)
- changed the sea from "Water4" to "Daylight Water" (this is so that when it is day Night time the water is the colour of the skybox not just light blue (lighting doesn't affect Water4))
- The ability to craft, build and destroy walls
- Add 1 new type of tree (pine tree for a forest)
- Better Inventory System
- Chests?
- More work needs to be done on the transition from day to night with the skyboxes

0.1 Update!
The 0.1 update is finally here. I have added some new features but there isn't too much that is new from the last post.
Add:
Sorry 0.1 is private and will be until later updates. Remember that you don't need a blogger account to add a comment so comment on what you think needs to be added to Adventure!
Add:
- New water (river).
- Windows on the side of buildings.
- On attack zombies now go red for 1 second if hit.
- The axe now has a 0.5 seconds time period where a zombie can't take damage (this is because before spamming click would kill zombies instantly!) and 1 second for every other item.
- Cross hair that shows when you click.
- Added 2 new types of grass/plants.
- Added 2 new trees (these will replace the others however aren't definitely going to be the final trees!).
- Added new skybox.
- Added Flashlight (2 damage).
- Added Battle Axe (15 damage).
- Added Hammer (5 damage).
- Added new house.
- Added new game icon.
- Added Death screen.
- The way you enter a house/building (only noticeable in the script!).
- Zombie AI (I have spent a lot of time trying to fix the zombie ai, so now when zombies follow you up and over a hill they wont start to fly away. The zombies would also start spinning around you or even fling you if they're close!).
- Fixed the screen going blue and crashing (this seems to be because of some zombie script error.).
- Grass no longer billboards (this is when it always faces you!).
- Texture bugs (this was a huge problem but from messing around with some of the options this is no longer a problem).
- Zombie Collisions (this is when a zombie follows you to a house and touches a window or wall. The result of this is that the zombie will randomly fly into the sky or spin around forever. This also lead to the screen going blue and crashing.).
- The axe now does 7 damage.
- The start menu has changed.
- Changed lighting to forward (texture bugs!).
- Increased grass draw distance

For my next update I will work on world layout, better menus and adding more animations to the zombies.

Adventure! (prototype)
Today is the first day of development. So far a minor world has been created with only a house, trees and some grass. This is not my first project but will hopefully I will learn some important skills for when I create other games in the future.
Here are some screenshots of what I have right now:
